Foundation Apprenticeship in Creative & Digital Media
Overview
As a Foundation Apprentice, you’ll learn a skill and get work experience – while you’re at school!
The National Progression Award in Creative and Digital Media is at SCQF Level 6 and brings together a range of creative roles where interactive media storytelling bleeds into the world of commerce. Creating digital content enables marketing, advertising or information gathering and in turn, produces a vast amount of job roles within the Creative Industries. Pupils will learn hard technical skills such as camera work, lighting, editing and sound as well as the important soft skills such as working in a team and managing to a deadline.

- Photography
- Filmmaking
- Digital Media Production

National Progression Award (NPA) in Creative and Digital Media: Technologies, Processes and Practices at SCQF Level 6.
Convergence: Digital Media Sectors and audiences, Creative Business Communication Skills / Presenting ideas, Creative thinking and analysis (including research skills, leading to final project), Media: Understanding the Creative Process Storytelling (Content creation - written, blog, journalism, audio, visual).
