An Introduction to Bricklaying and Joinery
Overview
This short introductory course in Bricklaying and Joinery has been designed to bridge the gap from school or unemployment into meaningful college courses that will enable further progression into apprenticeships and other employment in the construction industry.
Successful attendance, attitude and achievement of this course will provide a student with preferential consideration for a place on a full-time course starting in August.
Students will be released for school exams as required.
Entry
There are no formal entry requirements for this course but applicants will need to display a genuine desire to succeed and progress onto further courses or employment.

You will learn practical trade skills in Bricklaying and Joinery. Courses are available in multiple formats to suit applicants with existing qualifications to avoid duplication.
The course is predominantly practical based in workshop and project areas you would need to attend one of the following attendance patterns, 0930-1545. Motherwell Campus.
