Entry

Applicants must have already achieved at least one Higher pass (at 'C' or above) or a significant number of Level 6 unit passes.

SQA qualifications in English and/or a Social Sciences subject (such as History, Modern Studies, Geography, RMPS, Politics, Psychology, Philosophy or Sociology) would be advantageous.

Places are limited and recruitment is by open competition. Please add a comprehensive personal statement to support your application.

Learn

The 'Fast-Track to HNC/D Social Sciences' course will run three days per week.

Units will cover:

*Sociology: Human Society

*Psychology: Individual Behaviour

*Psychology: Social Behaviour

*Criminology: An Introduction

*Numeracy

*Being Resilient

*Tutorial Support

Units may be subject to change. Classes will be shared with a range of other NQ groups at the Cumbernauld campus.
