British Sign Language: Level 4
Overview
Are you looking to further develop your knowledge of British Sign Language?
This part time course will build upon prior learning and develop students range of straightforward personal/social and transactional/vocational contexts. Learners will further develop their skills of understanding and producing straightforward language using BSL.
Entry
Applicants are expected to have attained the following, or have equivalent relevant knowledge/skills:
British Sign Language (BSL): An Introduction (SCQF 3)
Other relevant experience will be considered on an individual basis.
Learn
As part of this programme students will study develop their language skills and enable them to communicate with British Sign Language (BSL) users in various contexts. Learners will also develop their understanding of how sign languages work, and how they differ from spoken and written languages.
