Higher Chemistry

Overview

This qualification consists of three deliverable units with the mandatory external exam. We are delivering the qualification specifically for candidates who need to sit the external examination, not the units. If you require units only please ensure that you mention this on your application form.

Prelim Examination(s)

We will use prelim examinations as part of the formative assessment processes. These are not normally used for any appeals procedure.

External Examination

The examination is normally in May each year. This is set by SQA and you sit it at the same time as all students in Scotland.

Please note that this course will run for 2 evenings per week 6-8pm in semester 1 and 6-9pm in semester 2. This will give the adequate time to fully support you towards the final examination.
